Good news!

Hi everyone! Me and Sydney have decided to buy one more budgie!!!  I thought that Sydney needs a friend, cause its not all ways I have the time to be with him.

I'll buy him around next weekend, and I need help with the name. If you have any suggestions then just write on comments.  ;-)

(I know it may be a bit difficult to find a name, since you haven't seen him before, but maybe it will suit  him...)

Orb-it

Hi! I'm sure that all budgie owners know that budgies are a bit messy...  :-)   Seeds and feathers everywhere, yeah you know. So we got an Orb-it. Its a little hoover, really cute! And it works perfectly for cleaning up all of Sydney's feathers and seeds! Here pics a video:

Varonda ll chapter lll

Chapter lll The rattling pile

Varonda just had to take a peek from outside of her fort. She was desperate to see if the town was still in its normal shape. It was. The town was fine, as safe as any town could be. Varonda was still scared though. Yesterday night was terrifying. Autumn village is not safe for Varonda if Zahl's on the loose. Varonda got up and walked towards the centre of the village. She saw neighbours eating and enjoying their breakfasts as if nothing had ever happened. Of course everything was fine for them, but Varonda was still in shock. On her way to the center, Varonda heard a rattling noise. She looked behind her, and saw a pile of tin cans and empty glass bottles shaking, as if something was under the pile trying to get out.

Varonda had her hand ready incase she had to protect her self with magic. The pile of things continued shaking. Suddenly a little hand popped out from under the pile. Varonda had her sword ready. The little human look-a-like came out from under the pile. He had orange brown, white spotted hair. And was no higher then your knee. He dressed in ripped boring brown threads. “Who and WHAT are you?!” asked Varonda confused. “Fear not” said the creature in a slight faded irish accent. “Wh,wh,what are you? Good or bad? Speak!” Varonda said protecting herself the best she could. “Me mean no harm.” Varonda took a step toward the creature. “Answer me, or else.” Varonda hated to be so rough, but if he was from the dark side then she was in grave danger. “Oh, oh. Please. I mean no harm.” said the creature hiding behind the pile of things. “Muffy is kind.” Varonda walked over to the creature. “Sorry I scared you. I really didn't mean to. I'm being hunted by Zahl. So I have to be secure.” said Varonda. “No, Muffy scare you. Muffy sorry.” Varonda helped the creature off of the ground. “So, what are you?” asked Varonda. “Me? Oh, I am a fawn elf. Me tell more, but first we must get away.” said Muffy.

Chapter ll A dark surprise

“Varonda......” said the deep and dark voice. Varonda sat up in her bed. She heard the thumps coming closer and closer. She lit her candle beside her bed and said: “Who's there, show yourself!” The thumping stopped, Varonda was worried that maybe the person had come to the top of the stairs. But not that worried, what if it was Kim? But Kim wouldn't scare her like that. “Who are you?!” shouted Varonda. “Come on wimp! SHOW YOUR SELF!” Varonda was quiet for a moment, in case the person spoke without her noticing. No one spoke. Varonda decided to remain quiet, so she could hear any noises. (If there were any) Then the voice spoke again. A bit clearer than last time. “Varonda, come to me. Come to the dark side and....” Varonda knew whose voice it was, exactly whose it was. Zahl's voice. Varonda jumped out of bed with her candle before Zahl could say the rest of his sentence and quickly took her sword out from under the bed and jumped out of the window. Varonda had forgotten that her bedroom was on the second floor. But she still remembered the lightning cloud spell. She made a cloud (lightning cloud) out of magic underneath her self in mid-air. Varonda sat down on the lightning cloud while it lowered her down to the ground. Varonda ran, ran far away to the centre of the village and through a little passageway underground. It was originally built to hide in for the second world war. But can still be used now incase...

Varonda used her candle to light a torch then she dropped her candle and then used the torch instead. Varonda walked slowly down the passageway until she found a bench, dirty but good to sit on. Varonda wondered why her powers worked. Since they only work when the powers know that you need them. Varonda didn't need them at home on earth, since there's no danger there. That means that her powers must have known that Varonda needed them tonight. “If I need my powers, and Zahls back. Then Kim's probably here to get me! They need my help if Zahl is back, don't they?” thought Varonda.

She heard something further away in the underground passageway. “It's Kim!” thought Varonda. She went running towards the sound. But that didn't look like Kim. It seemed more like a goblin! “Oh no, not again!” Varonda saw it now, it was more then one goblin, there were like ten of them! Varonda ran as fast as she could towards the exit. But there were more goblins, chasing her from BOTH SIDES! Varonda thought that if her powers really do work, then she must be able to use them now! So Varonda made a lightning bubble around her self. It worked! If you hit the bubble, then its like being struck by lightning. She ran to the exit in her bubble, shoving all of the goblins out of her way. They all fell on the floor, cause of the terrible shock of being struck. Varonda got out of the passageway. She ran into a narrow path between houses. “The only safe place I'll be is in a human house, cause martians know that they can't show themselves or their powers to humans. But any neighbour will be fast asleep and I will have NO explanation!” thought Varonda.

So Varonda had to carry on walking, through the paths hiding and waiting for Kim or any other good martian to come and explain what's going on. Varonda removed her bubble. She didn't want any human to see her in a bubble. So she tried to stay awake walking through the narrow, wet and cold paths. Keeping quiet and looking out for any danger. Varonda began to get sleepy. So she found some empty wooden boxes. She also found an old cushion and a dirty thrown away blanket. She made a fort type of thing with the boxes so no one would see her. Human or martians. And used the blanket and cushion for lying on. She also put a bubble around herself in case any dark side martian would see her and take her. Varonda had a dream while she was sleeping:

Varonda dreamt that Zahl took over the Kingdom, and sent Valeria, Queen Merada and Kim to jail. And tortured all the remaining good martians and stole from them. He took their powers away, and sent them to earth and made them bad so they would destroy the village Varonda lived in, including her house...

Its was morning, and Varonda was safe but still scared. She feared her dream, what if it was real? Varonda wondered.....

Varonda II

Hi everyone! Do you remember the Varonda stories I have written earlier? Well, I've writing a Varonda II !!!
Here is the first chapter:



Chapter l Mrs. PeppermenIt was cold outside, the wind was howling, and a slight draught went through the crack in Varonda's door and into the living room. There was a power cut in the village where Varonda lived, so everyones' houses were cold and dark. Varonda was sitting in her living room on this cold winter morning drinking her tea in peace. Then suddenly there was a knock on the door. “Probably another neighbour asking for sugar or flour.” thought Varonda. She got up and walked to the door reluctantly. There was another knock on the door. “Coming!” shouted Varonda running to the door. “Good Morning Mrs. Peppermen” said Varonda greeting her neighbour as happily as she could on this terrible day. “Oh, good morning Varonda darling. May I borrow some sugar? I need to make a birthday cake for my grandson, and I'm completely out of sugar.” said the elderly next-door neighbor Mrs. Peppermen in a slight shaking but kind voice. Varonda smiled. “Sure just come inside, and I'll get some for you.” she said.

Varonda closed the door behind the woman and led her to the chair in the kitchen. “Please sit down Mrs. Peppermen.” said Varonda. Mrs. Peppermen sat. Varonda walked to the drawers searching for the sugar. “So, when's his birthday?” asked Varonda. Mrs. Pepperman looked puzzled. “Who?” Varonda turned around. “Oh, sorry, I meant your grandson. When's his birthday?” Mrs. Peppermen answered: “Next Friday. And I need about 200 grams thank you” “Two hundred? I'm afraid I only have one hundred. Sorry.” said Varonda depressed. “Thats fine darling, I'll just pop into Mrs. Brown's house then.” said Mrs. Pepperman.
After Mrs. Peppermen left, Varonda was thinking that, since she was out of sugar, maybe she was out of other things too. So Varonda went to check her fridge and cupboards and drawers. She ended up to be out of a lot, milk and butter, biscuits and crackers, cheese and ham. It seemed like Varonda needed to go to the shops. She stretched and put her jacket and shoes on. And took her keys with her too. She closed the door and got into her car. She drove though a green wave of traffic lights, and got the parking space closest to the entrance. It was Varonda's lucky day! Even the items she needed were all on half price!
When Varonda came home again and had unpacked all the items, she sat down thinking. Thinking about the most amazing thing that had ever happened to her. The day she met Kim and entered Mars, and found out what magical powers she really had. And she wondered: “Will Kim ever come back for me? Will I ever see her and the others again? Whats happening right now up there on Mars? Why couldn't I stay?” The evening came, the sky got dark. And Varonda was still thinking. During her dinner she was still thinking, and in bed she was still thinking. “Why?” she thought in bed. She heard something. It wasn't from outside, neither from a neighbouring house. It was from downstairs. As if someone was down there. Then, Varonda heard footsteps coming up the steps, thump, thump, louder and louder, closer and closer and suddenly a voice that said.........

Redecorating

Today me & mum went to the shops, and bought more items for Sydney's cage. We bought a rope type-of-thing, and a new water dispenser, but it didn't fit so we are not using it. (Why we wanted a new one was that the old one is difficult to remove from the cage & attach. But it seems to be fine anyway.) Well Sydney loves the rope thinga-magig. How I noticed it was when I was at Rebecca's house (my friend) and they were looking after a budgie called Yoshi. He had this rop-toy thing, and seemed to enjoy it. So I got one for my little Squidge-Pop. Here's photos:

Budgie bath time!

Last Friday I (Mia) went to the pet shop and bought a budgie bath that you can attach to the cage. At first Sydney was very curious. But on Sunday morning he surprised me. He was bathing! Pappa filmed it - with iPad (all of my films have been recorded with iPad)  Here you are:

Finding new places to be!

Hi, today the 31 st of August I (Mia) had Sydney on my finger, and put him on my bed. He started walking about a lot, on the bed and all over me. (my back, head, neck, for-head, knee, leg) And he went on the iPad! CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!  And I caught a few pics! Enjoy:
